It seems like there are never enough hours in a day between work, running the kids to activities, and making sure the house is picked up. Sitting down at the table as a family and eating together can be a challenge at times, especially when we get home late after work, school or practice. On those late nights, we don’t usually feel like making some elaborate recipe and takeout can get so expensive and boring after a while.
I am always looking for ways to cut down on dinner prep time and with On-Cor entrées we are able to sit down and enjoy dinner at the table as a family. On-Cor creates super tasty, super easy to make dinner recipes that really cut down on prep and cook time. Got a craving for Chicken Parmesan but don’t feel like making it or going out? 6 Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce was easy and quick to make. On-Cor Entrées use 100% real cheese in dishes like their Macaroni & Cheese and “Selects” Lasagna with Meat Sauce. All of these meals are ready to heat and serve and can be easily stored in the freezer for those especially stressful nights. The entrée came ready to make in the package and required absolutely NO prep work. There were no complicated instructions and I only had to pull it out of the freezer and pop it in the oven. In the time it would’ve taken me to prep for the meal, I was able to make a tasty parmesan asparagus side dish to accompany our chicken parmagiana patties.
To make this tasty side dish, I washed and trimmed the asparagus before adding it to a skillet with a little bit of butter, salt and pepper to taste. After cooking the asparagus till it was tender, I added Parmesan and stirred the asparagus until the cheese was melted.
I wasn’t the only one who had free time. The girls usually help out with dinner and since there wasn’t any prep work, they got to relax and hang out together. While our dinner was in the oven, they had time to work on a puzzle together. They don’t get to just chill and play with each other much, so the lack of work was a great opportunity to spend some time together.
When it was time to take the entrée out, the kitchen was immediately filled with an amazing smell. The patties came out perfectly and no one had to keep checking them during the cook time. We decided to make our patties into Chicken Parmagiana sliders, accompanied by our tasty asparagus side dish. I just love the quality of their meat! A multitude of their entrées, like Salisbury Steak, Sliced Turkey and Char-broiled Patties have 20% more meat and their Penne Pasta & Meatballs with Tomato Sauce entrée has 25% more meat as well.
Not only was this entrée super easy to make, but it was absolutely delicious! It was if we had gone out to an authentic Italian restaurant and ordered Chicken Parmesan. Both girls went back for a second round. It was a hit all around and what really made me happy was that I knew what exactly was in the food. On-Cor is great about including all their ingredients on the packaging and I love that their entrées are completely monosodium glutamate (MSG) free. It is important that I know what goes into my kids’ food especially with so many companies using GMO’s in their products.
With such a large variety of entrée choices , these meals are sure to bring everyone together for a great, easy dinner. There was more than enough for everyone and it took a lot of the stress of making dinner off of my shoulders.
