Are you still looking for the perfect holiday gift? Or do you have someone on your list that is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for? I know I do…Well, I have a very, very, very tasty solution that is also going to be great for those of you (like me) who LOVE supporting small, local businesses. Matthews 1812 House is a family owned and operated bakery, and have been since 1979! They bake all of their items one mile away from the original Matthews family farm house.
One of the things that I love most is that they love real butter, eggs, and other ingredients, and they list all of their ingredients on each of the product page. This is SO helpful for me as a mom with a kiddo with a dairy allergy – it’s so nice to find treats that she can eat! Matthews 1812 House also offers gluten and sugar free products if you are on those special diets. We had the chance to try out some of their dairy-free treats- an amazing and very different treat – chocolate-covered ginger!
It came beautifully packaged for gift giving, and it was TASTY. It had rich and smooth chocolate, and the ginger gave it a little spicy (but not too spicy) – my 9 year old absolutely loved it.
We also had a chance to try out one of their yummy cookie trays.
Isn’t it gorgeous? ALL the cookies in the try were yummy, but my favorite were actually the spiced cookies right in the center (they are covered up with the label). They were fresh and crispy and full of yummy cinnamon and spice – they tasted just like the holidays!
Check out the yummy treats they have selected as special gift options for Christmas! You can still get them in time, so don’t wait if you’re still struggling to find the perfect gift! They usually ship within 1-2 days, and they have expedited shipping, so check them out if you are still searching for the perfect gift! And be sure to check out Matthews 1812 House on Facebook and Pinterest!
And here’s the best part! One lucky Parent Palace reader is going to win the same goodies that I got to sample! Please make sure to come back every day to enter, and if you could, please give Matthews 1812 House a like on Facebook!
