You may have read on a previous post how our family was down for the count on Thanksgiving with the flu. The girls and I pretty much laid around the house feeling sorry for ourselves – we were all sick and my husband was out of town so no one really felt like celebrating (or cooking). But by the time Saturday rolled around, we were all feeling better and my husband made it home, so we decided to put together a sort of Thanksgiving/start of the Christmas celebration dinner. Good thing that all of the Thanksgiving food I had bought was still fresh! And thankfully, I had just received a Winter Holiday Deluxe Kit from Birthday in a Box to review, so my decorating job was easy!
This is a fantastic little kit – it included 40 holiday cake plates, 40 red 9 oz cups, 50 red luncheon napkins, and 40 white forks, spoons, and knives. Obviously this is way more than we need, but this one kit will let us have holiday cheer all season long! It also included red and white streamers, and a red table cover. The table was set for a quick and easy celebration in no time!
I coordinated the red snowflake dessert plates with some red dinner plates and we were set to go in no time! Birthday in a Box has so many different patterns of Christmas party supplies that you are sure to find something that will suit you and your family’s taste!
Birthday in a Box made our make-up holiday party easy, fun, and super easy to clean-up (which my kids and I definitely appreciated!). So even though it had to wait on our flu to clear out, Birthday in a Box helped make our makeup Thanksgiving pretty awesome!
