So, you may remember from previous discussions that Ollie (the spaniel) and Sunny (the other one) are champion nap takers and relaxation experts? Those days are done. Now that we switched to Iams for their food, they have started wagging their tails and getting excited whenever the leashes or toys come out. Their sluggish afternoons are quickly being replaced by much more interactive toy time – they even play happily with each other.

We are going on a couple of weeks now of no longer having to live in fear of the Big Blue Dragon now that Sunny and Ollie are eating better and getting together on their dragon-slaying ability. Since the dogs have been eating Iams their energy level is so much improved and their alertness has definitely increased so much. We have noticed that they not only act happier and more energetic but they both have healthier looking skin and shinier coats.

Clearly, Ollie is a big fan of the food! He tends to be pretty picky about what he eats, but mealtime has taken on a whole new level of enjoyment for him. The Visible Differences that both dogs have go beyond the healthier looking skin, shinier coats, and increased energy levels – in fact, you could say that the improvements are complete from head to, um, tail(ish) area. While I won’t include photos of the digested and processed food, I will say that both dogs have great digestive functions and picking up their parcels while we are on walks is whole lot easier than it once was.

Today’s walk was a super fun Fall exploration of the neighborhood amid some great weather. We did a bit of jogging – some of it my idea, but most of it theirs. They made sure to watch every car as it went down the street, and to stop at each new yard in order to claim some part of the lawn as their own; they are now the biggest property owners in the village. At the end of the walk, they found their favorite spot was our own pumpkin patch, which is probably more poetic than I make it sound!

It’s so great to be able to spend time enjoying being out and about with the dogs. I am excited about how great they look, how much more energy they have, and how much more fun we all get to have together. Anytime you can get more fun and quality time with your best friends with a simple diet change you have to jump on that opportunity – for them and for you. With the change to Iams quality dog food ,the entire family has benefited. The dogs get to play more, the kids get to run around with them, and we all get to enjoy each other’s company in an active way.

Awww, so cute! Sometimes I really wish we could have a dog, but with eight cats… that isn’t going to happen! Still, I can live by reading cute posts. ;) I know Iams makes cat food, I’ll have to check them out.

We’re an Iams family too and we have a 14 yr. old Black Lab so she gets the blue bag.. I forget what exactly it’s called, but it’s for older medium size dogs. We love it. It was recommended by our Vet.

His little face looking up at the food is just way too cute. Our dogs are not picky but we try and feed them what is good for them. I’ll have to try Iams.

We buy our dog food in bulk (we have 4 big dogs) but I think it is supposed to be comparable to Iams dog food. It’s always important to feed your dogs the right food!

Those dogs are too cute. It really looks like they enjoyed their adventure around the neighborhood and it is great to know that they took well to the food too.
