Thank you to Target and Wet Ones for sponsoring today’s post. The advice and opinions are all mine.

It’s fall and the temps are dropping along with some of the leaves around our house. As temps dip during the new school year we all enjoy eating our favorite foods that are a little heartier than what tasted good when the breeze was warmer! But there are some foods that are, well, a little too messy for the lunch box!  But never fear, moms and dads!  This fall, your options are limitless when it comes to packing lunches, if you remember to tuck a pack of Wet Ones® into your kids’ lunch box! If you planned ahead and picked up a box at Target® on your last shopping trip, go ahead and pack these messy foods – if you didn’t, go get some now and you can pack these next week!

  1. Chili. There aren’t many more dishes that shout the change to fall more loudly than a good bowl of chili! But with the toppings and the crackers, it’s not uncommon to end up with a bit of chili on even the most skilled little hands. No problem if you’re packing Wet Ones®! Easy to fit in the lunchbox, and super easy to use to clean those small fingers so they don’t turn in school work smudged with leftovers.  Plus, it kills 99.99% of germs, so you might want to pack two so your little one can wipe up before lunch!
  2. Sloppy Joes! Come on, who doesn’t love the hearty deliciousness of a great Sloppy Joe?! And nobody ever got full from eating a Tidy Joe, so you can’t skimp on the sloppy if you want your kiddo to have the energy to learn about all 8 planets this afternoon (remember when there were 9 WE had to learn??). So go ahead, throw on an extra spoonful of sloppiness and put that Super Sloppy Joe in their lunchbox with full confidence that they will have clean mitts when they use their lunchbox pack of Wet Ones®.
  3. IMG_9361Wings! Ok, maybe this is just because we happen to be a few scant miles from the birthplace of the Buffalo Wing, but sometimes there are wings leftover from the night before. Maybe you have a similar specialty food that the kids love at dinner the night before, but you are too scared of what it will look like on their face, hands, and fingers after lunch to dare to pack it even though they reallllly want it? Well, put it in! We can send a few wings along to school and even toss in some dressing and rest easy knowing that our little angel will still look nice and clean when we pick her up after school.

As long as you remember to include Wet Ones® in the lunch box, lunch time is a delicious time full of hearty fall foods, and free from scary soiled fingers and faces!  You also don’t have to worry about drying out your little one’s hands as winter approaches – thanks to Wet Ones® Aloe formula, it won’t irritate skin like hand sanitizers, and they are hypoallergenic!  There’s definitely a reason that they are America’s #1 Hand Wipe.

Thanks to Target and Wet Ones® you can even pick up a coupon here to save on your next purchase of Wet Ones®! Think of all the new things you can send to school now.

What will you dare to include now that you can pack your kiddos fall favorites? Let us know – we are always looking for new ideas – and don’t be afraid to include something that will make me #WishIHadAWetOnes!
