I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Neutrogena. I received samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It was a ridiculously long and cold winter around here. Now that the sun is out, so are we! Who knows how much time we have before snow flies again, but until it does our family is outside and on the move. While the sun is great for lifting our spirits and warming up our days, we have to remember that it can cause skin damage as well.
We use Neutrogena® to protect our kids, and ourselves, from harmful UV rays. I know that I can trust my kid’s sensitive skin to Neutrogena because their products are so sensitive and effective that they have been awarded the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association. If it’s such an amazing line that an organization that helps people with skin sensitivities awards it a Seal of Acceptance, I am comfortable putting it on my 8-year-old as she heads out to run her lemonade stand for the afternoon!
Plus, just like Katie’s lemonade, the ingredients for the sunscreen are naturally sourced. Since one in five Americans will develop skin cancer, it is important to me to make sure that our family is protected. I can choose among the line of Neutrogena® products awarded the Seal of Acceptance according to who is using it and how much protection we want, you can select:
- NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Faces Ultra Gentle Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45+
- NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Stick Broad Spectrum SPF 60
- NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 60+
- NEUTORGENA® Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 60+
- NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free™ Liquid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50
My oldest daughter and I recently went on her end-of-year school trip to Boston and used nothing but Neutrogena® Sunscreen on the trip. And it’s a good thing too – it was VERY sunny on both days!
My daughter really enjoyed the Neutrogena® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Stick SPF 60 – no, it’s not just for babies. The great thing about the Neutrogena® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Stick SPF 60 is that it is easy and convenient to put in purse, and the application is so easy. My daughter HATES greasy suncreen and this rubs in for a non-greasy feel!
I really enjoyed using the NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free™ Liquid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50. This came with an awesome applicator – it was super thin so I could out just enough so that I wasn’t overwhelmed with too much sunscreen for my face (I reapply to my face more than anything!) For me, one of the huge benefits of NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free™ Liquid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is that it doesn’t clog your pores. I am definitely prone to breakouts and this won’t make your skin break out!
Whether it was strolling through the Commons, or on a whale-watching cruise, we were both protected from the sun. Three days of walking and sailing, and no sunburns for either of us! That is a successful field trial – especially for me because I have such a fair complexion.
Skin care and sun protection aren’t something to take lightly. If you are going to leave your home this summer – and I hope you are – please, take the time to protect yourself and your family with Neutrogena’s line of National Eczema Association Accepted sunscreen products. And once you try them, make sure to head over a write a review on the Neutrogena website about these amazing products! You and your family are worth it!
