Valentine’s Day is a loving and fun day for many people. Today am going to share with you some of the best wisdom you can get no matter your status in your relationship. Take your time going through this post to create a wonderful and happy relationship. As you can see, I used the word “Happy” rather than “Perfect”. My best wish is that you may find happiness in yourself and in your relationship, whether single, engaged, married or recovering from a broken heart.

1.What is the real meaning of Valentine’s Day?

Valentine day is a celebration of love and a chance for us to truly reconnect with the others. It is a day about LOVE, giving and sharing.

Love is one of the most amazing things in our lives. It is what makes us human and what makes life worth living for. Nothing else matters in our lives; the size of our homes, account balances, beauty, type of car e.t.c – all these things are of no importance if we don’t have what makes us tick.

“Love does not make the world go around – it simply makes the ride worthwhile”.

Love is more than what we feel romantically. It’s what makes us dance, sing and makes us human.

2. Stay away from Commercialism on Valentine’s Day

Love is not about highly commercialized circus that we witness on Valentine’s Day. It’s way deeper and more profound than receiving or sending dozen roses that you bought at a low price. It is more than candle than candle lit dinners and fancy chocolates.

It is amazing how we witness people hurrying around to prove their love for that “special” person in their life. But, what happens when the roses have died and chocolate have been consumed? Commercialism has become too much that people are forced to feel inadequate if they are on their own on Valentine’s Day.

3. Give of yourself to others

Other than focusing on what fancy gift to give your friend or loved one or how fancy you want to celebrate the Valentine’s Day, why not focus on what you can actually give of yourself.

4. Love your life and create a great relationship with yourself

The best way of having a great relationship and life is to have a healthy self-image and to love yourself. Working on yourself is the most useful thing that you can do for yourself. Remember, you have to be special to find someone special.

5.If you are single, enjoy your single life

Trust me; it’s possible to be happy even if you are single. If you are single this Valentine’s Day, ignore the media hype and go and have a ball.

Always remember that there is enough love in our hearts to heal the world aside from our own personal relationship. We have simply forgotten this as we strive forward with our lives. Sadly, we get to where we want to be in life but find ourselves filled with emptiness.

“Love doesn’t leave you but you leave love”

From this Valentine’s Day onwards, pay attention on creating long lasting friendship not only for yourself but also with your partner. If you have not yet found the love of your life, you can still have a fun and loving Valentine’s Day.

My wish and desire is that this Valentine’s Day, you find your own Love within you and around you and remember to share this love.
