DIY Easy Personalized Plate

This is a fun project that you could even get the kids involved in. I had so much fun doing it that I thought everyone should know how to do this. The best part is you may already have everything you need to make your own RIGHT NOW! So let’s get started.

First you should gather your supplies. You will need a plate and a sharpie. Really that’s all! Clean the plate and dry it completely,

I used a pencil to draw out my design then traced it. After you are done you can erase any pencil marks that are showing. After you are happy with your design bake them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Make sure to use oven mitts and let it cool because it will be HOT!

I wrote our family name in the middle along with a doodle. Around the edges I wrote a prayer before meals that we use at dinner time. There is no right or wrong way to design your plate and try to experiment with different colors, shapes, and sizes. You can use this method for cups and bowls too. Good Luck and Happy Crafting!

I glued a plate hanger to the back of mine and hung it above my kitchen sink.
