I was excited when I pulled the Kinivo Bluetooth out of my mailbox the other day. It is something I have been thinking about a long time since my daughters have gotten to be school age.
I want to teach them to be responsible drivers and not text and drive or get distracted by their cell phones. As parents, I know we are worse than our kids when it comes to this rising issue. The best solution I can come up with is a simple Bluetooth. Something that is plug and play, adding safety and peace of mind to our commute to work, play or even just to the grocery store.
The Kinivo is easy to install.
1) Position the receiver
2) Adjust the car’s stereo to Aux input
3) Plug in car adapter
4) Turn on and the car kit will enter pairing mode when it’s powered on.
That being said, I was worried my truck, which is quiet loud, might force me to yell while I am on the phone with a friend on the way home from work or speaking to my parents in Texas. The sound quality and voice is exceptional whether my truck is on or if I’m sitting idle waiting in the fast food line during lunch.
Creating a safe driving experience and teaching our next generation of kids how to be responsible is key to being a parent. We need to teach by example and this way it keeps us from texting, looking for a number or trying to talk with a phone to our ear and navigating the roads with our precious cargo in tow.
