Meet the Writers and Review Team:

Amber:

I’m Amber, and I’m the founder of Parent Palace. I live in Virginia, close to Norfolk/Virginia Beach & the D.C. tri-city area. I’m a 30 year old mom of 1 – a 9 year old son. I’m a girly girl and love the frilly things in life, but living in a testosterone run household doesn’t give me much chance to enjoy them. My son is a “tech child” and loves anything to do with technology (games, computers, toys etc..) The man of the house is a game geek, he loves anything video game related (think World of Warcraft, Skyrim etc..) We have all of the latest game systems and they get used often! We love travelling and spending time together, but alone time is important to us as well.

 Amy:

Mom to two funny and quirky boys, who both happen to have Asperger’s.  I homeschool, work with the boys on therapy, and try to create some calm among the chaos.  Life is busy and crazy, but there’s plenty of fun, too!  I enjoy blogging, reading, and food shows, and I try to fit some of that in with everything else!

Victoria C

Victoria C. is a former Family Law and Litigation Paralegal who has since become a full-time homeschooling mom to her four wonderful children ages 11, 10, 6, and 1. She and her husband of twelve years believe the immediate family relationship is of the utmost importance. In addition to writing for Parent Palace, she also writes for the homeschool blog at DenSchool and operates her family’s blog at Honey We Bought The Farm

Rebecca

I’m Rebecca and I am a 26 year old SAHM to an energetic toddler. My husband, my daughter and I live in Western North Carolina in a home that I’m pretty sure our Boston Terrier owns. I spend most of my time writing, reading and baking (I didn’t realize how dull that sounded until I wrote it down!). My husband and I are nearing the end of our 3 year journey of debt freedom and are excited to live a more abundant life without the looming cloud of creditors over our heads. I am a stay-at-home mom to my wonderful son CJ. I also sell children’s books and teach baby sign language. I am also a licensed 5th-12th grade English teacher. Mindy

Mindy is a mother to seven with one on the way!  Did she mention that the oldest is not even twelve!  Parenting is the adventure of a lifetime, and she loves to absorb as much as possible. Mindy is  the author of www.providentpath.com because living providently provides for future needs – her children deserve it!

Erin R.

I am a work-at-home wife of six years and mother of two beautiful children. Chloe is a precocious almost 4-year-old who is not afraid to speak her own mind. Finn is 1 and into everything. I consider myself a bit of “amateur foodie”. I love cooking, reading, crafting and anything Disney. We’re currently working to take back control of our lives financially and look forward to hopefully owning our first home in the spring.
