This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, Birds Eye®, and Tyson® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #FastFreshFilling http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

One of the toughest questions that gets asked in my house every day is “What’s for dinner?”  I have a fairly substantial commute from work every day, so getting home at 6:30ish doesn’t leave a lot of time for elaborate meal prep, and when the girls are with their dad and it’s just Tory and I, sometimes revert to not eating or going out.  Quick and easy meal solutions that are nutritious and delicious are at a PREMIUM in my home.

I was super excited to try out a pairing of  Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets and Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Blends.  There are four different types:  Southwest Style, California Style, Italian Style, and Asian Style.  I decided to try out the Italian Style Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Blends, which is a yummy mixture of whole grains, lentils, spinach, broccoli, white beans, and sauce.  I was able to find all of these products at Walmart while I was doing my regular grocery shopping, so this was super convenient!

Here’s the cool part of both the Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Blends and the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets- they both cook in the microwave!  This was soooo easy – I literally made dinner for Tory and I in under 15 minutes!  Here’s what I did, but there are so many different variations that you could do with this.

I started by covering the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets and microwaving them for 3 minutes.  While those were warming up, I spread some premade Italian Sun-Dried tomato pesto onto hamburger buns.

After the chicken was done, I popped the Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Blends Italian Style into the microwave for five minutes.

After it cooled, I poured over the top of the chicken, making a yummy open-faced Italian sandwich!  My husband LOVED it and it literally took less than 15 minutes, and it was ALL done in the microwave!

And just because this meal is fast, doesn’t mean it’s skimping on nutrition. Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets are 100% all natural and are made with all white meat, and are fully cooked with a yummy grilled taste (these are really tasty, even by themselves!).  The Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Italian blend was so good too – plus it has added protein for a full meal!

So if you’re looking for a easy, quick, and healthy meal solution, I highly recommend trying out Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Fillets and Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein blends!

What’s your favorite go-to quick meal in the summertime?

I generally will cook up a quick pot of some kind of pasta and throw in some butter or sauce and tuna or already cooked chicken. Birds Eye Steamfresh® Protein Blends sounds like it would make a good addition as well. I don’t have a microwave anymore but could probably cook it up in a pot pretty quickly!
