Samsung Galaxy Camera ReviewIf your tween or teens are anything like mine, they spend hours and hours on their laptops, tablets, or even cell phones viewing, discussing, tagging, commenting, and captioning photos. Today’s tween or teen cannot get through daily life without their camera. When it comes to buying anything for a tween or teenager, there are many things to consider. The first thing you should be aware of (if you aren’t already) is that at this age, accidents happen much more often than they did at the toddler stage. Tweens and teens break things. It just happens. Nothing is safe. And any parent who has spent any time at all with their teen or tween can attest to this fact.

So as a parent who is spending their hard earned cash on the best presents for this holiday season, I thought it was important to share some of the most savvy, internet-ready, affordable cameras for tweens and teenagers that I’ve found at Best Buy. These three cameras from Nikon, Sony and Samsung, all come equipped with built-in Wi-Fi so you can share amazing photos with ease. When capturing memories are that important, these three cameras from Samsung, Sony, and Nikon will do exactly what you are looking for. You will get the kudos of being the coolest parent and your tween or teen can capture images they will be proud to share!

Review Samsung Galaxy CameraThe top of my list is the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2. Ok, I gotta disclose – I own this one and LOVE IT!  This camera is digital and your teen or tween can point, shoot, share, and enjoy using the built in Android Apps. This camera has a megapixel of 16.3 and a 1/2.3” BSI-CMOS sensor, which allows for capturing sharper images and the best high-definition video footage. The touch screen is 4.8” making operation simple, and the built-in Wi-Fi capability makes sharing files that are stored easy.  Here’s my favorite part – I’m camera clueless!  I admit and have no issue with it.  However with this camera, my pics look like I might have a clue or two. And that is perfect for me! Check out the Samsung Galaxy 2 HERE

Sony Camera ReviewMy next pick would have to be the Sony a6000 Mirror-less Camera with Interchangeable Lens. This camera is a nice compact package that is made with the fastest autofocus in the world. This model features a megapixel of 24.3 and an Exmor Aps-C-CMOS sensor that makes shooting scenes in stunning clarity easy! It also has built-in Wi-Fi capability that makes sharing of your stored content a breeze. The Sony a6000 is available in silver or white. Check out the Sony a6000 HERE

Nikon Camera ReviewMy final pick is the Nikon DSLR D5300 w/18-55 mm VR Lens. Capture high quality photos and instantly store them with the built-in Wi-Fi capability. The D5300 DSLR camera by Nikon also has an AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR-II lens that will enable your teen or tween to capture the sharpest images and beautifully vivid video footage. Blurring is prevented through optical image stabilization so that images have proper clarity. The Nikon D5300 DSLR camera comes in gray or red. Check out the Nikon D5300 DSLR HERE!
