Nerf Rebelle – Outdoor Fun for All Ages!

32 Flares 32 Flares ×

Summer outdoor toysI took the Nerf Rebelle out to be tested by two “expert” Nerf gun warriors! My 12 year old and his best friend were raring to give it a go and share their thoughts on a classic Nerf gun.

After much discussion and review by the kids, I was given the following info on what this Nerf included:

It comes with a target that has score areas on it
A very basic pistol
3 purple foam darts
3 blue foam darts
A crossbow attachment
An easy to use laser sight, a round flip up, peep sight and a regular sight

The pistol is very easy to use, all you need to do is load a dart, pull back the cocking lever, aim, and fire. The laser sight provides anybody at close range in the dark with deadly accuracy. When it is bright out you must use the flip up peep sight or the regular sight. They both provide you with the new nerf gunssame accuracy as the laser sight, but when you move farther away the darts drastically drop and you must compensate when you are shooting.

I struggled with understanding the crossbow attachment. Of course one of the kids took one look at it and immediately knew what to do. All you ngs for kids to do in summermust do is fit the front of it right side up over the muzzle of the pistol and wind the string through the cocking lever and you immediately have something that adds a certain amount of style to your gun and holds the darts in the back of the attachment. The target and different color darts make it very fun and easy to have competitions between friends. Each person gets three different color shots; since the target is clearly marked you can easily tally the points and figure out who won. The darts stick to the target so it won’t cause friends to argue about the score, but the target will fall or blow over if it is not propped up on something.

We had a great time playing with the Nerf Rebelle! It’s fun for all ages and we had a competition of three generations. Grandparents, parents and kids all vied for top score with the Nerf Rebelle. And believe it or not, Grandfather came out on top!
