If you are looking for a fun action packed movie for the whole family to enjoy, we have found it for you!

Against the Wild tells the tale of  a boy named Zach and his sister Hannah along with their Alaskan Malamute, Chinook on an adventure to stay alive. While traveling on a small plane to visit their dad, they are faced with a crash landing which leaves the pilot unconscious. If that wasn’t  bad enough they are now in the woods among wolves, grizzly bears, and forest fires.

Zach has had some Cub Scout training and puts it to good use during their time in the woods. This brother and sister have had their differences in the past but must come together to survive. The father and mother also need to put their shaky relationship aside to try and find their kids. Lessons on working together and putting aside your differences are sprinkled throughout this movie along with beautiful scenes from deep inside the forest.

This exciting, fast-paced adventure with beautiful cinematography and a stirring musical score performed by a live 65-piece orchestra in Prague, Against the Wild will keep the whole family on the edge of their seat from start to finish.

No need to worry about vulgar language or adult content because  Against the Wild has been approved for all ages by the Dove Foundation.  I love being able to relax while watching a movie with my daughter instead of  waiting to fast forward through the inappropriate dialogue and scenes. Thanks to the Dove foundation, who awarded the film with 5/5 Doves, I knew they were truthful when calling it “a terrific film for the entire family!.”

This sounds like a wonderful movie for the family. I can’t wait to go get it and watch it with my children. Thanks for the info about the appropriateness of this movie, because I too find that everything that is meant for children, is not always appropriate for children. I look forward to watching a family movie that I don’t have to worry about anything like that. Movies and shows that are all the way clean, are getting few and far between. Also, I am not sure what this anonymous person is asking about the children in the movie. Do they have something against the names Zach and Hannah? What a waste of quality space!

The favorite snack for my family would be popcorn. Every Thursday is family movie night at our house and we always have popcorn.
