Veggie Patch review and Giveaway

I received the items in this post for the purposes of this review. Opinions are my own.

It’s hard to get the recommended vegetable servings in daily, the latest guideline suggest we need to have 5-13 servings daily. That is unheard of in my household. I try to make every meal with at least one healthy item as a side dish but that still leaves us lacking a few of our servings. Then I found out about Veggie Patch! They have so many delicious veggie options that will have you counting your servings on both hands. I like the idea of swapping out something that is loaded with trans fats for something that is not only trans fat free but has a part of my serving of vegetable inside.Spinach Nuggets

My daughter loves chicken nuggets, I think most of you are nodding right now because what kid doesn’t? Veggie Patch offers a twist on the classic nugget that will be a happy swap in any house. Their Spinach nuggets half a half of serving of vegetables in every serving of nuggets.

Broccoli Bites

If that wasn’t exciting enough, as much as kids love chicken nuggets they usually hate broccoli, am I right again? Veggie Patch offers another swap with their Broccoli bites. They are made with real vegetables and rolled in seasoned breadcrumbs.

If you hide the package your kids might not even know they are eating vegetables.

Meatballs

My favorite swap is the meatless meatballs. After a long day the last thing I feel like doing is spending hours in the kitchen trying to make homemade meatballs. Although they are tasty, they are very time consuming and require too much effort sometimes. So I will add the Veggie Patch meatless meatballs to my sauce and instantly make my plain spaghetti a little more exciting. My family will love them, I will save time, and we are all a little healthier because of Veggie Patch.
