Now I know what your thinking, what makes Kale a St. Patricks Day Recipe? Well it’s GREEN and for me that’s all that matters!
This is an easy recipe that I make all of time but it is especially good when you are looking for something green that actually tastes good!
You will need:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Rinse your Kale and then break off the leafy parts from the stem. I like to make very crispy kale so I break it into tiny pieces to ensure it cooks thoroughly. You can break it into any size you like depending on how you would like it cooked. Then place kale pieces onto baking sheet. Spray with a little cooking spray. Sprinkle seasonings on kale to taste. I add a few shakes of each but am usually heavy on the garlic salt. Then place it in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, depending on your oven. At my old house it took 10 minutes at this house it only takes 8. My daughter likes it brown and I like it dark green. If it’s your first time making it, I suggest trying a piece after 8 minutes and cooking longer if you want more of a crunch. Enjoy!
