The Holidays are always a time for closeness – to come together with our families, and enjoy the warmth of our homes. Sure, maybe your uncle might want to talk politics a bit too much, and maybe your otherwise cute niece is a little noisier than she was last year, but something about this time of year genuinely brings us together.

Still, even the comforts of home can lose a bit of their charm after a while. Taking a day to enjoy the city can take some of the pressure off entertaining at home. There are plenty of places to enjoy sightseeing in NYC, and Manhattan is always bustling with activities of all kinds. Rockefeller Center combines an eclectic bunch of stores and restaurants, with outlets ranging from Anne Taylor to Posman Books. Shopping in NYC is fun and easy when you’ve got some of the city’s best retail all in one place.

Even if you don’t live in New York City proper, it’s always easy to go downtown. If you own or rent an apartment in Yonkers or in any of NYC’s satellite cities, a day trip is worth it too. It can sometimes be fun to travel for the holidays as well, especially since New York City is one of the most travel friendly cities in America.

Rockefeller Center is offering you the chance to win tickets valued at $150 or more. There are enough tickets for you and your immediate family (limit 10), and winners will be able to access the Top of the Rock observation deck 70 floors up, which includes gorgeous panorama views of the entire city. And don’t worry, if you can’t make it there for the Holidays, the tickets won’t expire. You can use them at a later date when it’s more convenient.
