I received an Applebee’s gift card to facilitate this post. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever suffered from food envy while eating out with a spouse or friend? Most people know the feeling: you are torn between menu items and when you finally settle, you are jealous of the food that’s on your dinner companions plate. It happens to the best of us, but Applebee’s is currently trying to attack food envy so that you don’t get jealous during dinner!

The seasonal Take Two menu is currently available until at Applebee’s. Until August 26, you can choose two entrees to enjoy. The special includes some of Applebee’s customer favorites as well as new selections from the Fresh Flavors of Summer menu that you can venture out and try.

Applebees Take Two Menu

No more wishing you had chosen what your friend (or someone at another table!) had ordered. You can satisfy any craving by getting TWO main courses rather than just one. With over 60 percent of surveyors ages 18-29 admitting they suffer from food envy, you can see how this can become an issue for those that like to eat out.

I believe this could help reduce the amount of food envy that restaurant goers face since you have more choices. You no longer have to settle for one menu item! There’s enough variety on the Take Two menu to satisfy two of your cravings, no matter what you are in the mood for.

My husband and I went to Applebee’s recently to try out this new menu. Because he tends to have food envy more than I do, he gave the Take Two selections a shot, ordering the 4 ounce Blackened Sirloin and  Garlic Rosemary Chicken Pasta. He enjoyed both entrees and said he was glad he was able to make more than one choice.

Food Envy at Applebees

The Take Two menu at Applebee’s begins at $10.99 and is only available for a limited time. Be sure to visit and take advantage of selecting two entrees instead of one!

Enter to win a $50 Applebee’s Gift Card

One reader will win a $50 Applebee’s Gift Card to take advantage of the Take Two menu! The Gift Card will be sent via e-mail so you will need to print it out to take to the restaurant. Applebee’s is also randomly giving away gift cards to Instagram users (click here for details)!
