I had the pleasure of receiving several items from Sierra Club for review. They have some fun and beautiful green Christmas gift ideas for us this year! I received a big wall calendar, a desk appointment book, and a couple of pairs of socks from ParklerWear as well, and they have much more available!
Everything they sent was gorgeous! The socks are wonderfully soft, and made of organic materials. The calendars are really over the top as well! The big wall calendar really is very large. I’m not sure of the dimensions but it is definitely taller than a foot and just under that wide, and then you open it and there are some of the most gorgeous pictures!
The squares for the dates are big enough for us to write important things to remember, like when my oldest son has scouting events or our church is doing something new on a weekend as we plan to change up some things there this year. We won’t forget appointments or special days with this calendar for sure!
The appointment book is really beautiful also. It’s separated by the week, with an inch and a half space or so for each day to write something important as a reminder. Each week has a new picture, so you’re getting lots of great photos with this one!
Sierra Club supports all sorts of active protection movements to help with everything from cleaning water from oil and pollution, to finding alternative energy sources, to working with local preservation societies to help conserve resources and habitats.
If you’re in the market for some more eco-friendly gifts, or just want to support those types of actions with your gift-giving dollars, give Sierra Club a look!
Sierra Club is offering a set of calendars – one wall calendar and one desk appointment book – to a Parent Palace reader! Enter below!

We contribute donations to a number of sources each month, but not to a “green” group. However, we do recycle a ton!
I support eco-friendly paints and toys; it’s so important to make sure our children aren’t exposed to toxic chemicals.
