Sibu Beauty Review

This Sibu Beauty set is made from sea buckthorn berry oil. I received lotion, detox soap, facial cream, vitamins, and the buckthorn berry oil itself. I haven’t had a facial routine, but have realized that I need one. Since having my twins 2 years ago, I’ve started breaking out each month with my cycle, and have looked at trying several different items. Here is a before picture of my face, in the middle of a “breakout” (which, for me, means I had a few pimples)!

I’ve been using Sibu Beauty for almost 2 weeks now. I’m a busy homeschooling mom of 5 kiddos, so I haven’t remembered to do every part of the routine every single day, but I’ve done the morning cleanse and cream on most days. I was happy that Sibu Beauty included instructions on an actual routine! I know how to use each individual product, but as far as what order and when to use them for the best results, I was a little clueless. Sibu Beauty has you wash with the detox bar and warm water each morning, and then follow with the facial cream and also take the vitamins each day.

The lotion is for use after a shower, which I did over the week or so, and the oil is for use with the detox bar again at night. I did the oil several times but not every night, and did get where I was doing the detox bar at night and skipping the oil. My face is oily anyway and I felt like the oil wasn’t helping my breakouts. I stopped using it just because I don’t think it makes much sense to put oil on my oily face and expect to have less pimples. Maybe that’s just my perception, and I didn’t have any sort of reaction to the oil or anything – just didn’t want to continue including it in the cleansing routine.

I really loved the detox bar and the lotion! The detox bar smells so clean, lathers up very well, and makes me feel like I’m doing something good for my skin. The facial cream is great too; I put it on and spread it out; within a few minutes I can’t tell that I put anything on my face, but it’s like my face can breathe easier all day long! The lotion does the same for my skin – I was s surprised at how quickly my skin absorbed it. Guess I was lower on moisture than I realized! At first I was just going to put it on my knees, elbows, and heels, but as I applied it I quickly saw that my skin was drier than I’d thought and used it all over my arms and legs. My hubby even noticed a softness about my shoulders, and that’s something for him to notice it let alone say it! 

All in all I was very happy with Sibu Beauty! I’m still a little confused about the oil and think that the vitamins will show their use best after a longer period of time, but as a whole this is a great beauty set and I hope I can continue with it for a long while! Here is an after picture of my face, with all the spots cleared up even on my neck, and a much brighter skin tone.
