There are so many parents that rely on coffee to get them through the day; I’m one of them. I must have my coffee as soon as I wake up or else I’m a zombie for the entire day. Once I’ve had my morning pick-me-up I continue to drink coffee throughout the day.

My favorite thing about coffee is that there are so many ways to enjoy it. Sure, you can use plain cream and sugar – but where’s the fun in that? I love to jazz it up with different flavored creamers. Another reason I love coffee creamer is that I can recreate my favorite coffee house drinks for a fraction of the cost. My absolute favorite coffee house drink is Starbucks Hazelnut FrappuccinoI could drink them all day, but my wallet would be screaming after a couple. With the Hazelnut Walmart Creamer I picked up on my shopping trip I can actually recreate the delicious frozen drink at home! I had never tried the Coffee Mate Hazelnut Creamer so I wasn’t exactly sure how it would compare to Starbucks Hazelnut pump.

Nestle's Coffee Mate Hazelnut Frappuccino

I was amazed when I tasted my homemade Hazelnut Frappuccino and it was almost spot on (there was only the slightest difference. It could be that I didn’t use whipped cream.) Here’s how I did it:

Recreate Starbucks Hazelnut Frappuccino with Nestle Coffee Mate Hazelnut Creamer

Combine 2 ounces of espresso (or 6 ounces of double strength coffee) with 1 1/2 cups crushed ice, 6 ounces Hazelnut Creamer & 2 tablespoons of sugar. Blend in a blender for 15 – 20 seconds – not too long as it will become watery.  Top with whipped cream & chocolate syrup if you like.

It’s that simple; no standing in line or paying $5 for a 20 ounce drink when you can make it at home! I’m very impressed with the Walmart Creamers and definitely plan to continue using them. You can save so much money making your favorite coffee house drinks at home with Walmart Creamer. Why not give it a try yourself? I especially love buying creamer this time of year. This is when the Peppermint Creamers start to come out! I am completely obsessed with peppermint, and being able to add peppermint creamer to my coffee is a must. The beautiful thing about Nestle Coffee Mate Peppermint Creamer is that its use is not limited to coffee. Nestle's Coffee Mate Peppermint Mocha Chocolate Truffles

I made Peppermint Chocolate Truffles that were to die for. They were easy and didn’t last very long. I also made the most delicious Peppermint & Chocolate Brownies using Nestle Coffee Mate Peppermint Creamer. They were so simple to make and they were gobbled up in record time. I’m planning on serving these for the holidays, and making some extra just for us.
