Your clothes can say a lot about you. They can show people what your favorite band is, your favorite show, your favorite color …. well, you get the point! They can also show your attitude.

I spent a lot of time looking at all of the different shirts available on the site. I really like that they offer a few different shirt styles – v-neck, traditional tee-shirt and a scoop neck. I don’t look that great in a regular tee shirt, I prefer a scoop neck! Both of the tees that I really liked were fun, bright colors and came in the scoop neck style.
While I have never been able to shake my love of pink, I knew that I just had to have the “Be Yourself” hot pink butterfly shirt! And I love it. It is bright, has a beautiful design, and really gives me confidence. The message to just be yourself is so important to remember. It can be so hard to be yourself and to not worry about what others think. I have always tried to “march to the beat of my own drum” but it can be easier to follow the pack sometimes. I spent a few years where I felt lost — I didn’t really know who I was anymore. I was a new mom and felt like that was my only role and definition. It can be hard for me to balance being Jessie and being Mom, and this shirt is a good reminded of my journey back to myself, finding balance and how important it is to stay true to who I am.
I also really like “Be Free” turquoise design. It is a very simple design with just the two flowers, but I love it all the same. The shirt is bright and really makes my blue eyes stand out (which I love!). The flowers are the puffy dandelion seeds that I remember from my childhood — I would blow them as hard as I could with my eyes closed to make a wish. My daughter does the same, and the shirt brings back such good memories from my childhood… playing outside all day, no responsibilities other then having fun… Ah, those were the days :)
Because I found so much inspiration with these shirts, I wanted to pass a bit along to my daughter. She can be a bit shy and doubt herself at times, and right now, she is really into dancing. She has been coming out of her shell a bit in front of others, and getting into her ballet. She practices, and I am so impressed with how much she remembers and how hard she tries. When I saw the “Be A Dancer” kids tee, I knew it would be perfect for her! One thing that I really like about this shirt is the dancer pictured on it is shaped like a REAL girl — I cannot even begin to tell you how many products I have passed over in the past because the girls depicted on them show an unhealthy/unrealistic body image.
One of my big tests when it comes to clothes is how they wash — these shirts are 100% cotton and wash beautifully! They didn’t shrink, fade or pill up when washed, and are super soft and comfy.
Just Be YOU Final Opinion?
I am loving the Just Be line of shirts, and cant wait to get a few more for everyone in the family — they have boys and mens tees too, plus tote bags and even water bottles!
