Sprout Organics Baby and Toddler Food Review and Giveaway

I had the privilege of receiving Sprout Organics toddler snacks to review. I have two year old twins, a boy and a girl, and they have very different eating habits. C, my fatty boy (cute patootie!), will eat just about anything, but 2/3 of it ends up on his face and clothes, and the table and floor, and everywhere else! L, my pretty princess, is super small, doesn’t eat much, is picky about what she will eat, and even then she just picks at it. 

They both loved the Sprout Organics meals though!

L was the most impressed. As hard of a time as I have getting her to eat anything at all ever, let alone in measurable quantities, I think I’m going to have to find these locally to keep on hand at least for times when she refuses to eat anything else. She tried the Sprout Organics Vegetable and Barley Stew and ate it up by the spoonful!

C was tickled to try his Sprout Organics Pasta, Zucchini, and Tomato Sauce because it looked a lot like spaghetti, I think. At first, he was a little resistant to the taste and didn’t want to try a second bite. We got some of the purée into him though, and after he realized that he liked that he was all about trying the meal again. It obviously wasn’t his favorite meal, but he ate about as much as he usually does at a meal, and he really went for the purée instead.

The Sprout Organics Baby and Toddler Food purees are in squeezable pouches. I had to keep an eye on the twins to make sure they didn’t make a big mess, and even then we had some squirted into the meal trays. I thought they were more like drinks than they really were; they’re more like baby food in a drink pouch. C wasn’t a fan of the Carrot, Apple, and Mango purée, but really liked the Blueberry Superfruit flavored one. L liked them both! These would be great to carry in the bag for when we’ve been out just a little too long and the twins need a quick snack before we can really get them anything else.

I love that these are whole foods, and organic, so the kids are getting healthy options for their meals and snacks even when I’m in a hurry!
