While not an authentic Chinese recipe, this tasted great tonight and is pretty darn close to restaurant quality sweet & sour sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 C. Water
- 1/2 C. White Sugar
- 1/3 C. Rice Vinegar {may sub. white}
- 1 lb. cubed beef
- 1 Bag frozen carrots, water chestnuts & broccoli
- 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
Directions
- Mix together 3/4 c. water, sugar and vinegar and bring to a boil.
- Mix the remaining 1/4 c. water with 2 tbsp. corn starch and add to the mixture.
- Stir the sauce until it reaches the consistency you prefer and add the beef and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Server over rice.
