Besides Christmas, my favorite holiday while in grade school was Valentines Day. I loved the crafts leading up to it, and was super excited to be giving and receiving Valentines Day Cards. I always chose the cards carefully and made sure the right ones went to the right people. The cards I handed out were reflections of myself and usually how I felt about the recipient.

Now that I have a child in grade school I get to relive those days (even if it’s just vicariously) and help him pick and choose the cards he shares with his classmates. This year we were introduced to some amazing cards from our pals over at Peaceable Kingdom. More specifically, the Scratch & Sniff Stinky Super Valentine Fun Pack! Seriously, just reading that name was enough to convince me that these were the perfect card for my own little stinker! After all he’s at that gross and disgusting stage that I’m assuming all little boys encounter at some point.
These Valentines Day Cards are too cute! As soon as he opened the package and read them he said “Oh yea, I know who I’m giving this too!” for each one. Of course, I had to test the scratch & sniff part out first because he was a bit hesitant; I was too really. Luckily they weren’t completely horrible, it was mostly a garlicy/pickley/oniony smell instead of other odors I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong, they’re definitely stinky, but not in the “OMG I’m going to puke” way. These are a little boys dream Valentines; after all how many young boys want to give mushy gushy Valentines Day Cards (or is it just mine that doesn’t?!)
