Kushies Waterproof Training Pant

Yes, it is worth it for yourself and your little one for you to purchase training pants. Why is it best? Because you will get tired of wasting your sposies, or running through your cloth, every time you “think” your little one is ready to go.

Why you shouldn’t purchase pull-ups…. because they do not train your child to do anything (simply put, no need for me to go into a rant).

Why you shouldn’t purchase those training packages at your local super center:  Because you have to cover them up with an ugly plastic cover… that is like a little off-white parachute on your child’s rear. It’s made out of the same material as a plastic mattress cover and it sounds the same when they move.  Terrible,  I can’t imagine how that could be healthy.

What are your other options?  Many cloth diaper companies are beginning to offer training pants and Kushies is no exception.  Kushies is one of the most affordable brands of cloth you can purchase for your child.  I refer to them as the starter company for future cloth enthusiast. Because they are so affordable, you can try a variety of styles without a large investment to be sure cloth is the way you want to go. They offer everything from AIO’s, pockets, fitteds, flats, prefolds, swim diapers, and so much more!

I received a Taffeta Training Pant to try for my little guy. It is soft, slender in the crotch, and very well made.  The exterior is waterproof, a little plastic like, but nothing compared those described above. My little one enjoys running around in them (playing his guitar), and being able to pull them up, and down when he sits on his floor potty.  He giggles, actually.  He finds it quite entertaining.

Unfortunately, the pants I received was slightly small for my little one and he will be unable to wear them before long.  I would recommend you purchase a size up from the norm in order to prevent yourself from having the same difficulty.

Again, I recommend these trainers, or any other Kushies product, for anyone who is on a budget.  They are a durable and affordable way to explore all that cloth has to offer without breaking the bank!
