For those of you that don’t know me I am 100% addicted to cloth diapering! I didn’t diaper my two oldest son but since I started to cloth diaper my 11 month old I wish I would have! I had no idea the greatness that was a cloth diaper! I also had no idea how much money cloth diapering could save me. While a lot of cloth diapers can cost upwards of $20 each, there are a lot of great and affordable options out there for every budget.
Lotus Bumz diapers was started by a mom just like you and me. When she started to cloth diaper her newborn she quickly found a need for affordable, quality, cloth diapers.
Lotus Bumz sent me a Purple All Star Pocket Diaper (who says boys can’t rock purple!). The diaper features a stay dry fleece inner and a water-proof PUL outer. It comes with a microfiber insert and features three rows of snap down snaps as well as cross over snaps.

The diaper is designed to fit babies from about 8 lbs to 35.lbs. My 11 month old weighs almost 20 lbs. and this diaper fits him really well on the middle snap down setting. The elastic around the legs and the back are great! A lot of diapers tend to leave really bad red marks around his leg but this diaper did not do that. The fit is really good. Its trim around the legs, but offers very good coverage.

The back pocket is nice and large. Even my husband, whose hands are much larger than mine has no problems stuffing this diaper. The back pocket also has a flap to help keep the insert from popping out the back of the diaper.
The one problem I had with the diaper is actually on the cross over tabs. I had a hard time getting them to line up. The snaps are slightly misaligned and it doesn’t allow for a super flat fit. This would only be an issue if you have a really tiny baby that you were cloth diapering, or a super skinny baby. Having said that, the diaper is still functional like this the tabs just don’t lay as flat as I would like to see them.
You can purchase a Lotus Bumz pocket diaper by visiting their website lotusbumz.com. Diapers start at $10.95 to $15.95. You can also get better deals by buying them in sets of 12 or 24.

We are considering cloth diapers since the price of disposables is expected to increase soon! I like that these are adjustable, and can last for all sizes. Sounds like my almost toddler and infant can even share the same ones, since they’re both boys, I won’t have to worry about laundry separating.
I love cloth diapering too! I have never tried lotus bums and not sure at this point they would work for my 6 month old (he is pretty small), but I love that they would fit him as he gets larger. That is the one thing I noticed with my oldest, that as they get bigger less and less fluff fits them. Thank you for the review
